Beyond the open science survey I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve created two additional bookdown
books to capture some data gathering, cleaning, and visualization workflows.
One of these focuses on the survey data we are collecting as part of the Play & Learning Across a Year (PLAY) project. The survey questions are collected using an open source tool called KoBoToolbox. The web book that documents the gathering, cleaning, and visualization of these data can be found here: https://PLAY-behaviorome.github.io/KoBoToolbox/. By all means geek-out on the data cleaning steps, or even better, suggest some more efficient ways to whip these data into shape. But to see a prettier view of the cleaned data, please start here.
