What I did on my summer vacation

I haven’t posted in a while. Frankly, the blog slipped to the bottom of a long to-do list. But when the graduate student who is coordinating our cognitive psychology area colloquium found my site and sent it round in advance of a talk I was giving, I realized I needed to catch up.

Ok, so the academic summer has gone. But here is a rebooted blog using my new favorite tool, Quarto.

Over the summer, I spent a lot of time on the Databrary analytics site, writing a new Databrary grant, keeping the PLAY project survey data site up-to-date, planning the Open Science Bootcamp and planning my PSYCH 490 course on the reproducibility crisis.

Oh, and there might have been a little ham radio in there, too. And lots of time seeing friends and family, especially Alvin Henry (“Sonny”) Gilmore and Miss Lola Greyhound-friend.
